       ВОЛОНТЕРСКИ СЕРВИС СРБИЈЕ је камп у организацији нашег удружења, објавио и представио партнерима на техничком састанку - 188 учесника из 42 земље су чули за камп, који ће се реализовати у овом етно селу.

Young Researches of Serbia (YRS) is a non-profit, non-political NGO officially established in 1976 as a networkof organizations, societies, clubs and sections with research programmes, gathered around the coordinativeoffice on the national level in Belgrade. Through its history the number of members changed, but there wereover 50 different organizations taking part. In the 90’s YRS leaves the organizational form of verticalrelationships following the current direction of civil sector development. Today YRS represents theorganization on the national level and it unites three thematically different but interconnected sectors –Youth Sector, Voluntary Service of Serbia and Environmental Protection and Conservation Sector.Young Researches of Serbia involves mostly young people aged 15-30, including the ones with physical orintellectual disabilities, or difficult social backgrounds.

WORK:

Local host is the NGO dealing with environmental protection, organisation of environmental voluntary workcamps, trainings and workshops. This workcamp aims to connect young people from different countries and do something important for the local school in the village. The school was open from 1882 and it is one of the oldest in this region, even only one for several neighbour villages. That s why it is important to and in past few years there were already few national workcamps organised so far in here i both voluntary as well as educational. It is expected bigger involvement of local youth. By participating at this camp volunteers will help to local community, improve conditions for the pupil in the school. Also, in this way we ensure that families will not move from the villages into close towns but keep the villages living. Volunteers will be renovating the school (painting, cleaning, small repairs, some landscaping at the school yard) and clean the neighbourhood of the school.

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD:

In tents and/or in school. Every volunteer will get a sleeping bag and mattress. Food will be prepared by the volunteers in shifts.

LOCATION & LEISURE ACTIVITY:

Village Borac is close to town Kragujevac, some 100 km south of Belgrade. Free time will be organised for volunteers, different excursions visiting important cultural and historical monuments.
